Ulu Kenas Waterfall & Recreational Forest

Location
In the district of Kuala Kangsar, Perak Darul Ridzuan.
How To Get There
Ulu kenas recreation forest is about 15km frm Kuala Kangsar using the kuala kangsar - manong road, 45km from ipoh and 40km frm Bota (hahaha my home town). Using North-South ExpresswayNSE (E1), exit at Kuala Kangsar town. As you reach kuala kangsar town (Royal Town), look for road sign to Manong, KemBinna Negara or Ulu Kenas Recreational Forest which is about 2 km frm the main road.

Natural Heritage Status
Ulu Kenas Recreational Forest is rich in flora and fauna of tropical rainforest. the main forest type is Hill Dipterocarp Forest. others include Dipterocarp palm forest, upper hill dipterocarp forest, oak-laurel forest and montane ericaceous forest. The park is a popular for mountain climbing destination of Gunung Bubu (1657m). sungai Kenas flows through the park. the park is situated within Bubu Forest Reserve. The park is home town to many endemic plants and wild herbs found in the upper reaches of the park. shady keruing neram (dipterocarpus Oblongifolia) trees on the river banks provide scenic and panoramic of the cascading river
